Quick overview

The Cypress is a freeride design for riders who like their lines a little more rowdy and their playgrounds bigger. We’ve created a powerful binding by stiffening our exclusive System X Baseplate with double the fiberglass; adding a lighter, stiffer and more laterally supportive highback; and beefing up the outsole. That translates into high-speed, big–mountain performance.

PERFORMANCE

System X is a baseplate design that more efficiently transfers and evenly distributes a rider’s energy into their snowboard. No matter where pressure is applied to the binding, the System X allocates energy across the baseplate’s structural X shape, and out to the four cardinal points. The result is quicker, more effective control.
The outsole is a dampening interface made from a special TPE Rubber. It integrates with the System X design, sitting between the binding and a rider’s snowboard. The outsole dif fuses high–frequency chatter while providing rebound and cushion for high–impact landings.
You use the strong, light and adjustable aluminum heel cup to center your foot. This comes with a lifetime warranty.
The baseplate is reinforced with 33% fiberglass and therefore gets more strength, stability and response.
The binding features a asymmetrical highbacks with 5º pre-rotation for ergonomic feel and freedom of movement.

COMFORT

Arbor’s all-new, plant-based BioStrap takes the place of harmful petrol-based plastics focusing on heel lock and secure fit, with a comfortable curvature and low profile, single-injection ankle strap. Stronger, lighter, more sustainable, and the first of its kind.
All Arbor bindings feature a flexible, comfortable, and secure fit on or over the toe of any boot.
Arbor's proprietary pre-curved “Bow-Strap” adjusters & ladders actively swing away from a binding to help open the foot bed, making binding entry easy and more hands free.
The 2XD Footbed features a dual -density footbed design. The top is made with a firmer material for added durability and improved board feel. On the bottom Arbor added impact absorbent heel & ball area pods for big landings and harder snow. The footbed has a 1.5º built-in cant for a more ergonomically aligned ride.

USE

The Mini Disc’s require less surface area and along with the System X help provide a more organic snowboard flex underfoot. This disk is channel compatible.
The Arbor buckles offer ultra-reliable performance, with long-term durability and a tighter, stronger click for unparalleled boot to binding connection.
