  • For delivery we depend on our transport partners. We can therefore not give a 100% guarantee about the delivery day. Our experience is that in 95% of cases the package is delivered on the predicted day. (UPS Standard and DHL Standard).
  • If you order skis including bindings that need to be mounted, we will do everything we can to mount your skis the same day. In some cases, shipping may take 1-2 business days longer depending on how busy it is. Busy periods include Mondays, Black Friday, the week before Christmas break and the week before spring break. Are you in a hurry? Please contact us!
  • If you place an order for multiple products with different delivery time indications, the delivery time indication of the product with the longest delivery time applies.
  • There is no delivery or shipping on national holidays.

Peter Bauer drew on his many years’ experience working on the successful Singular series to create the Soulmate – a true Swiss army knife that will unlock the doors to any kind of terrain the mountains offer up. The Soulmate mixes a modern nose shape with
a slight taper and semi swallow tail for cutting edge float and agility, on deep days as well as on corduroy.

PROFILE

  • Twin cruise camber
    A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like pop camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In amplid’s directional snowboards and skis a touch of early rise is added to cruise camber to improve buoyancy even further.

  • All-terrain Tips
    A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.

  • Thick Cut
    Introduced this year with the future shapes series, thick cut cores have a thicker profile in the tip and tail to reduce vibrations and increase stiffness where you need it. Reduced nose and tail deflection improves deep snow float, adds control and increases stability.

CORE

  • Omni Core
    A dependable, low density poplar wood core which is lightweight, durable and has great flex memory. The industry standard for great performance.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Biaxal Glass
    Using biaxial glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.

  • Impact Pads
    On the milligram we have added mulitdirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by pointy corners of metal splitboard binding bases. These pads will enhance durability without adding undesired weight.

    A special eco-friendly finish that looks good and will never crack!

BASE

  • Extruded 4 Base
    If we didn’t tell you, you’d think this base was sintered. Amplid’s mind-boggling extruded base material offers next level glide properties and rarely needs waxing.

SIDEWALL

  • Beziér curves
    Amplid avoids radii where we can and use Beziér-curves when designing sidecuts and nose shapes. It allows Amplid to calculate the exact flex curve of the core, which results in the most harmonious ride a ski or a board can provide.
