How to choose the right ski length

First of all there is no golden rule to determine the correct ski length. It depends on your skiing abilities, weigth, length and type of ski. But as a rule of thumb we provide the table below which is a good starting point to find your correct length
Example: If you start getting in to freeriding, take a ski which is approximately 5 cm shorter then your own length.

Quick overview

The ZAG Slap 98 is a versatile all-mountain ski that offers high performance for intermediate and advanced skiers. With a 98mm waist width, this ski strikes the perfect balance between stability and manoeuvrability. The progressive rocker profile in the tip and tail provides float in deep powder, while the camber underfoot ensures reliable edge hold on hardpack. Designed and tested in Chamonix, this ski is built to handle the most challenging terrain and weather conditions. Whether you're looking for wide open bowls or carving the groomed slopes, the ZAG Slap 98 is the perfect ski to explore the mountain with confidence and style.

Details

Rocker Camber Rocker
The ski is easy to turn thanks to a rise in both the tip and the tail. Due to the camber under the foot, the waist of the ski provides grip on harder snow. Skis with this type of profile like to be skied from a more centred stance..

Twin Tip Shape
The ski has a tip on both sides to help with backwards skiing and easy tail release.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Hybrid Cap/Sandwich construction
These skis with a hybrid construction have a combination of Sidewall underfoot and Cap construction in the tip and tail. This combination unites a good edge hold with a low rotational weight.

Adaptive absorber
The snow-feel experience for each range has been adapted thanks to the visco-elastic inserts which have been added throughout the skis. The inserts create an impressive adaptive dampening, these inserts are different and specific for each line depending on their needs.

Adaptive pivot control
A new combination of radiuses under the foot allow the skis to pivot easily. It makes for a ski with great grip and an enhanced feeling of control. The transition from a carved turn to a side slip turn has been made easier.
