The all new woman’s park board is here. It was developed by Juliette Pelchat for women who charge and want a board that performs to the best of their ability. The versatility of the MidBite profile makes this board the perfect board for riders that want stability and response when they ride. The art was made by Crystal Legoffe a Whistler local that also rides YES. boards. She worked closely with Juliette while building this graphic.

Details

PROFILE

  • Camber
Offering a snappy suspension, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. The P’s! Power, Pop. Precision, Predictability! An advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board design.

CORE

  • Full Poplar
The baseline core for tip to tail woodcore snowboard construction. Strikes a predictable balance between durability, consistent flex and light weight.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Triax
A snowboard often has two layers of fiberglass. A bottom and top layer. Both layers in this board are made of 3-dimensional fiberglass at a 45-degree angle. 3-dimensional fiberglass provides good torsional rigidity. This provides stability and response and is often used in boards for the more experienced rider.

BASE

  • Sintered True base
A sintered base is made from grains of coarse powder that are pressed until they form a solid. Genuine sintered base is harder and more expensive than extruded base. It can therefore be faster for those who drive aggressively and fast, provided the base is waxed according to the circumstances.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Midbite
Midbite is made for tight turns and stable landings. The steel edge between the inserts falls slightly inwards. The result is weight savings and a faster edge change due to the narrower waist. In addition, it provides more grip on icy terrain and the wider tip and tail for stable jumps and landings.

OTHERS

  • Forever Flex
Forever Flex is the 'breaking' of the board. By bending the board before use, it is as if you have already ridden the board for a number of days. As a result, the flex of the board in your hands will remain stable and will change less with use.
