Quick overview

The Yes Jackpot introduced the original MidBite outline 3 years ago that has since trickled throughout the line whenever a new or updated Twin is on the roster. This new Jackpot features a wider overall platform and new MidBite/sidecut ratios to suit the ever-advancing park and pipe environment. As the Jackpot is designed primarily as a park/resort board we've developed a unique tip and tail profile that employs a sharper transition off the contact points to a flatter, more drawn out kick.

Details

PROFILE

  • Directional CamRock
A hybrid rocker / camber shape with camber between the feet, and rocker in the nose and tail. The rocker in the nose and tail gives more float and manoeuvrability in powder snow, while the camber provides grip and response.

CORE

  • Poplar_Paulownia
The upgraded version of the known Full Poplar core, the poplar paulownia core is lighter because of the addition of the paulownia strips in the core and retains it's durability.

REINFORCEMENTS

  • Triax
A snowboard often has two layers of fiberglass. A bottom and top layer. Both layers in this board are made of 3-dimensional fiberglass at a 45-degree angle. 3-dimensional fiberglass provides good torsional rigidity. This provides stability and response and is often used in boards for the more experienced rider.

BASE

  • Sintered True base
A sintered base is made from grains of coarse powder that are pressed until they form a solid. Genuine sintered base is harder and more expensive than extruded base. It can therefore be faster for those who drive aggressively and fast, provided the base is waxed according to the circumstances.

SIDEWALL & EDGES

  • Tapered Underbites
Tapered Underbite aims to give the board more float and edge grip. Seen from the tip, the steel edge gradually falls inwards at the height of the inserts. This gives you a tapered shape, which improves buoyancy. Due to the wave in the steel edege, you create grip. Because the radius becomes shorter towards the tail, you can send out your turns surprisingly powerfully.

OTHERS

  • Forever Flex
Forever Flex is the 'breaking' of the board. By bending the board before use, it is as if you have already ridden the board for a number of days. As a result, the flex of the board in your hands will remain stable and will change less with use.
