In short

The Weston Skyline is designed for long tours that lead to steeps and variable conditions. The Skyline will lead the charge uphill while providing a reliable edge on the down. To achieve this the 95mm ski has a camber-dominant profile - there's just the right amount of reverse camber in the nose to help keep you afloat, while the camber maintains snap and edge hold and the flat to early rise tail allows the tail to release when you need it too. Pair this with an ultralight core composed of paulownia and aluminum stringers, with a carbon fiber overlay. The paulownia and carbon keep things ultralight while the horizontal aluminum provides dampening while weighing in at only 1500 grams in a 184cm.

Rocker Camber Rocker
The ski is easy to turn thanks to a rise in both the tip and the tail. Due to the camber under the foot, the waist of the ski provides grip on harder snow. Skis with this type of profile like to be skied from a more centred stance..

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Carbon
Carbon is added as a reinforcement to the core. Carbon is light, strong and durable.

Glass Fiber
Delivers customized flex with increased torsional resistance and stability.

Directional Shape
The tip in this ski is softer than the tail. This makes it easy to turn, while the stiffer tail provides stability and control when steering the turn.
