In short

Swix PS8 Red, -4°C/+4°C, 180g is a wax suitable for use in softer and damp snow, but less effective in colder and drier conditions. It also works well as a base preparation wax. It melts easily and is easy to use. The wax iron should be passed over the ski for approximately 8-10 seconds. After cooling (approximately 10 minutes) the wax can be reheated for extra durability. A good wax iron is important for efficient melting, with a recommended temperature of 130°C.
