The Ortovox Avabag Litric Freeride 16 S is designed for the Freeriders who are happy to climb a few meters to ski or snowboard the best powder slopes. The Litric Electric Airbag system is light, easy to use and safe due to its multiple activations. The avalanche airbag backpack consists of a separate back panel with integrated Litric airbag system plus a zip-on bag, which can be easily attached to the base using an almost invisible zipper.

Thanks to its wide, flexible hip belt and soft shoulder straps, the versatile, lightweight Ortovox Avabag Litric Freeride sits extremely securely while providing full freedom of movement. It is compatible with the Clasp back protector. The backpack offers comfort and freedom of movement. Features such as ski, snowboard and ice axe attachments, as well as a helmet holder and quick access to the main compartment leave nothing to be desired.

The backpack base is available in two back lengths and can be combined with all Avabag Litric freeride zipper attachments of the same back length. The compact version (18 / 16 S) for when you go up the mountain for a few days with the elevator, or more volume (28 / 26 S) for the long backcountry days. The base is also compatible with the touring zip-ons. So you can use the Ortovox Avabag Litric Freeride for any trip!

Developed by Arc'teryx and Ortovox, the LiTRIC is the first electronic airbag system to combine the benefits of two worlds: the lightness of a mechanical system with the usability of an electronic system. From the trigger and LED display to the airbag packing and leg loop, everything has been carefully thought out and is very easy to operate.

The LiTRIC airbag system contains super capacitors and despite being an electrical system is, an ultra-light airbag, at about 1,080 grams LiTRIC is one of the lightest airbag systems on the market. In 25 minutes this electric system is fully charged via a USB-C charger and with one charge the airbag can be activated 2 times. The operating time is 60 hours when on (30 days when off) which allows for multi-day trips without recharging. Fly all over the world with the LiTRIC airbag. With its super capacitor, the LiTRIC not only has more storage space but also no travel restrictions!
