Personality compares the character of a ski with other skis within the same category. On the playful side, a ski is softer and easier to steer, while a stiffer and more aggressive ski requires more strength and technique and provides more support at higher speeds.
Indicates which type of turns the ski is best suited for. Some skis are easier to turn quickly in short turns, while others are more focused on longer turns and greater stability at higher speeds.
An indication of the level of edge grip and confidence on hard snow, ranging from a freeride or powder ski with relatively little grip to a piste or race ski with a high level of grip.
Indicates which snow conditions the ski is best suited for, ranging from soft snow and powder to hard snow and groomed pistes.
Indicates the skill level for which the ski is best suited. A ski for beginners is generally easier to turn and more forgiving, while a ski for experts requires more technique and input and provides greater support at higher speeds.

In short
Whether skiing at the resort or outside of it, the Nordica Santa Ana Unlimited 88 is eager for adventure. For exceptional performance and versatility, this all-mountain women’s ski pairs Nordica's famous Santa Ana design with touring capabilities. To boost your confidence and control, it features a lightweight construction that’s especially easy to turn and maneuver. This also maximizes efficiency on the ascent. And as the narrowest and lightest ski in the Santa Ana Unlimited collection, it excels on firm snow and touring at the resort.
In detail
Rocker Camber Rocker The ski is easy to turn thanks to a rise in both the tip and the tail. Due to the camber under the foot, the waist of the ski provides grip on harder snow. Skis with this type of profile like to be skied from a more centred stance..
Woodcore The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.
Carbon Reinforcement Carbon is integrated into the ski construction to reinforce the core without adding unnecessary weight. Known for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, carbon increases responsiveness, stability, and power transmission while keeping the ski light and agile. This results in a more precise and energetic skiing experience.
Titanal Titanal is a high-performance aluminium alloy that increases the ski’s strength, torsional stiffness, and stability. By reinforcing the construction, it improves edge grip and power transfer while reducing vibrations at speed. The result is a smoother, more precise, and more controlled ride, especially on hard-packed snow and during aggressive turns.
True Tip By trimming the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, Nordica enhanced playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of powerful and control.
Terrain Specific Metal The width of the titanal layer is adapted to each ski in the range, depending on its waist width and intended use. Narrower, more piste-oriented skis have a relatively wider metal layer underfoot for added stability and stronger edge grip. Wider skis, designed for softer snow, use a more balanced metal layout to maintain maneuverability and a more playful feel. This approach ensures a consistent construction, tuned to the performance demands of each ski.
Sidewall Construction A durable PU sidewall seals and protects the ski’s layered construction while adding structural strength. By improving power transfer from the skier to the edges, sidewall construction delivers better edge grip, increased stability at speed, and more precise handling. It also enhances durability and impact resistance for long-lasting performance.

Technical
Characteristics
Shape
Tour
The shape of a touring ski is designed to balance efficient uphill travel with downhill performance. It remains agile and relatively lightweight, while providing enough flotation for softer snow conditions.
Profile
Tip & Tail Rocker
A Tip & Tail Rocker profile has an earlier-rising tip and tail with camber underfoot. This makes the ski easier to turn and increases versatility in soft and variable snow.
Ski core
Light Woodcore
Focused on reducing the overall weight of the ski. This makes the ski feel lighter and requires less effort to steer and carry.
Ski outline
Early Taper
With Early Taper, the widest point of the tip and, in some cases, the tail is positioned closer to the centre of the ski. This shortens the effective edge and allows the tip and tail to release more easily, making the ski more manoeuvrable and easier to turn, especially in soft and variable snow.
Side wall
Full Sidewall
Uses a vertical sidewall along almost the entire length of the ski. This provides direct power transfer to the steel edges and is commonly used on skis where precision, edge grip and support are important.
Core Tech
Carbon
Lightweight carbon reinforcement can add stiffness and a more direct response without adding much weight. This helps the ski remain light while still providing support, although the exact effect depends strongly on the amount and placement of the carbon.
Flex
Medium
Offers a good balance between easy flexing and sufficient support. This keeps the ski accessible at a relaxed pace while providing more stability and control as speed and load increase.
Radius
Medium
With a radius of 16m @ 172cm, this ski offers a good balance between easy turn initiation and stability at speed. It feels predictable in short to medium-length turns and remains stable as the pace increases.
