How to choose the right ski length

First of all there is no golden rule to determine the correct ski length. It depends on your skiing abilities, weigth, length and type of ski. But as a rule of thumb we provide the table below which is a good starting point to find your correct length
Example: If you start getting in to freeriding, take a ski which is approximately 5 cm shorter then your own length.

Quick overview

The K2 Dispatch 120 is a ski blending Freeride and Touring DNA and a perfect choice for deep, bottomless backcountry terrain. Packed with new technologies the Dispatch 120 boasts a foolproof union of weight conscious, stability and dampness.

Details

Rocker Camber Rocker
The ski is easy to turn thanks to a rise in both the tip and the tail. Due to the camber under the foot, the waist of the ski provides grip on harder snow. Skis with this type of profile like to be skied from a more centred stance..

Hex Beam
K2's Hex-Beam technology improves dampness and directional stability. By moving mass away from the center of the ski and so increasing the swing-weight the ski gets a predictible turn initiation. The ski remains stable and keeps tracking while maintaining a smooth and predictable power transmission.

Steadfast
With the K2 Steadfast base your skis will glide better and longer. It features improved wax adhesion and prevents skins from pulling the wax from the base. All in all retaining wax longer than high another high-end sintered base. A big added bonus is that a Steadfast base requires about 30% less energy to produce.

Uni Directional Flex
Weight-conscious Adds composure to the ski allowing it to track more predictably in varied terrain.

Sidewall construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
