How to choose the right ski length

First of all there is no golden rule to determine the correct ski length. It depends on your skiing abilities, weigth, length and type of ski. But as a rule of thumb we provide the table below which is a good starting point to find your correct length
Example: If you start getting in to freeriding, take a ski which is approximately 5 cm shorter then your own length.

Quick overview

The Head Kore Tour brings the famous Kore All-Mountain performance to the backcountry. With a super lightweight construction and all unnecessary weight removed, you’re able to explore further, heading away from the resort and finding lines that lift-reliant riders can only dream of. And after you have flown up to the top, the ski still rips on the way down, lightweight and mighty. The Tour 87 is the smallest in the new family and combines lightweight touring with reliable downhill performance on firmer snow.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Multilayer Carbon Sandwich Cap Construction
Developed from the most sophisticated materials known to man: the Super Light Sandwich Construction makes up one of the world’s lightest freeride skis by utilizing Graphene, two different carbon layers, as well as replacing the surface with a polyester fleece. The ultimate construction for a high performing freeride ski.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Carbon
Carbon is added as a reinforcement to the core. Carbon is light, strong and durable.

Graphene
Graphene is an unrivalled light and strong material. With the use of Graphene, Head is able to make strong skis without affecting the weight.

Topless Tech
Topsheet made of polyester and triaxial woven carbon. This saves weight and increases the torsional stiffness of the ski.

Sidewall Construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
