Quick overview

The DPS Powderworks 100 RPC is a preview from the DPS R&D Lab and their vision of the hard-pack big mountain charger. It holds an edge like a Super G ski, and gives stable confidence for landing every drop you can line up. It’s a throwback to the early days, where the emphasis was simply skiing as fast and hard as you could. The 100 RPC is not a 100% powder ski. Its best conditions are wind buff, chalk, and mixed hard pack. It does enjoy crud busting, and it holds a pretty incredible arc on a groomer.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Carbon
Carbon is added as a reinforcement to the core. Carbon is light, strong and durable.

DPS Aluminium Tailbar

Connected directly to the core of the ski, this aluminium insert provides added reinforcement and climbing skin ease of use.
