How to choose the right ski length

First of all there is no golden rule to determine the correct ski length. It depends on your skiing abilities, weigth, length and type of ski. But as a rule of thumb we provide the table below which is a good starting point to find your correct length
Example: If you start getting in to freeriding, take a ski which is approximately 5 cm shorter then your own length.

Quick overview

The Cochise 106 is Blizzard's extreme all-mountain ski. With its modified shape, it has become lighter and a lot more accessible. The ski is fearless and goes downhill on any terrain, performing better than ever on vast powder plains and in the midst of forests. This ski is perfect for those who love to explore the snow and go everywhere and anywhere.

Details

Rocker Camber Flat
The ski is effortlessly steered thanks to the tip rocker and easily stays on top of the snow. With pre-tensioning under the binding, the ski is easy to take off and allows you to put a lot of pressure on the edges.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Titanal
A composite metal of mainly aluminium, known for its torsional stiffness and durability. The addition of a Titanal layer to the ski construction provides stability at speed, strength and damping.

Sidewall construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.

TrueBlend Flipcore

The combination of the different types of wood in the core in both directions has given this Blizzard ski a balanced flex. The adapted core under the binding and in the tip and tail makes for a forgiving ski. The wooden core is covered by two layers of Titanal for excellent performance. The special feature of this construction is that the core is uniquely composed for every length size.
