The Black Crows Orb Freebird is a bright yellow reference in ski touring. Designed with a fine and progressive rocker lift that gives it a strong base and a very secure grip, it is the perfect companion for long vertical adventures. The Orb has a 90mm waist width, is light and offers very good strong performance. Ready for all the adventures, including the most radical.

In detail

Rocker Camber Flat
The ski is effortlessly steered thanks to the tip rocker and easily stays on top of the snow. With pre-tensioning under the binding, the ski is easy to take off and allows you to put a lot of pressure on the edges.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Carbon
Carbon is added as a reinforcement to the core. Carbon is light, strong and durable.

Glass Fiber
Delivers customized flex with increased torsional resistance and stability.

Titanal Binding Plate
A Titanal plate positioned under the binding provides a robust and durable mounting platform, ensuring direct power transmission to the ski. It increases torsional stiffness and reduces vibrations, resulting in a more stable and controlled skiing experience—especially at higher speeds.

Cap construction
A ski with Cap construction has a topsheet that extends over the edge of the ski to the steel edge. Skis with Cap construction are generally lightweight, more economical and offer good damage protection of the topsheet.

Sidewall Construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
