How to choose the right ski length

First of all there is no golden rule to determine the correct ski length. It depends on your skiing abilities, weigth, length and type of ski. But as a rule of thumb we provide the table below which is a good starting point to find your correct length
Example: If you start getting in to freeriding, take a ski which is approximately 5 cm shorter then your own length.

Quick overview

The Atomic Cloud Q14 Revoshock S is a one-ski on-piste quiver for hard-charging female skiers. The Cloud Q14 draws on its World Cup heritage, with race-proven elements keeping the ski responsive and the performance predictable. Late-afternoon laps will feel just as quick and exciting as first tracks down a freshly groomed slope. The Multi Radius Sidecut makes confident, short slalom turns through the variable snow of a storm day or laying out long, fast, stable arcs over pristine morning corduroy equally fun. If this is your idea of the perfect ski day, the Cloud Q14 Revoshock S is your ski of choice.

Details

Camber
The ski has a traditional pre-tensioning over almost its entire length. This shape makes it easy to build up pressure in the turns, creating good edge grip. Nowadays, nearly all Camber skis also have some sort of rocker in the tip to improve turn initiation.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Titanal
A composite metal of mainly aluminium, known for its torsional stiffness and durability. The addition of a Titanal layer to the ski construction provides stability at speed, strength and damping.

Sidewall construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.

Revoshock
Atomic's new Revoshock technology acts as an additional shock absorber in your skis. The absorbers between the tip of the ski and the binding absorb vibration and provide a damped and energetic ski that will help you push the pace.

X12 GW Binding
The X12 GW binding from Atomic is ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers. With a DIN scale from 4 to 12 there is a right value for every athletic skier to choose from. The binding is suitable for both alpine and Gripwalk shoes.
