Quick overview

Bella was co-created by Wechsel and the German based “Club der AbenteurerINNEN” (a club for female adventurers), with a focus on weight, packing dimensions, flexible space arrangement and a quick setup.

The result is a light weight geodesic tent for 1.5 people, including a vestibule. Thanks to the external tent poles, the Wechsel Bella can be set up quickly. Two aluminium hubs at the poles ensure high wind stability. The additional ridge pole ensures sufficient headroom.

The pack size is handy and light and optimized for bike packing. The Bella will also fit perfectly in any backpack. The inner tent is equipped with mosquito mesh in the door as well as at the foot and head end. Although Bella is designed as a 1.5 person tent, it can also accommodate two people who like each other. Though it was designed by and for women, solo camping men can also appreciate its features.

Variable carry bag
The handy carry bag is variable in length. By removing the poles, the length of the stuff sack is reduced to 25 cm. For Bikepacking the poles can be stowed separately where they possibly fit better. There are many ways to attach or to stow the tent. This feature distinguishes Bella as a Bikepacking optimized tent.

Quick setup
Pitching Bella is fast and easy by connecting the pole frame and the flysheet. The inner tent is already attached to the flysheet. In case of setting Bella in the rain, the inner tent will be safe from getting wet. If the ground is too hard, you don't necessarily need to fix the tent with pegs. The construction is free-standing, only the vestibule has to be tensioned.

Flexible space arrangement
No matter whether you are traveling alone with a large trekking backpack or with your dog or child. Even with your loved one, it is comfy to stay overnight.

Thanks to their eco-friendly, anodised aluminium poles tents from the Wechsel Zero-G Line are perfectly suited to protect you against the elements. All the fabrics used are extremely durable and tear resistant. Whether tunnel or geodesic, Zero-G Line's 1 to 4 person tents all have practical entrances, generous sleeping lengths and plenty of storage space.

Features

  • Dyneema guylines: The guy ropes are made of extremely high tensile strength Dyneema. Woven-in reflective threads ensure better visibility of the guy ropes. The linelocks enable simple and safe adjustment
  • Apex ventilation: With the help of apex ventilation flaps air flow is increased between the inner and flysheets, helping regulate humidity and temperature. They are securely sewn into the seams. They do not have to pulled open and can be closed with Velcro fastenings to prevent them flapping noisily in the wind
  • Color coded poles: The pole-endtips and pole-channels are color coded for easy pitching
  • Sustainable connection between the inner and outer tent: The connection between the inner and outer tent is practical and sustainable. The rubber can be knotted tighter or easily replaced if necessary
  • Upside down buckles: These buckles make connecting the inner tent to the flysheet child's play. Even without additional staking you can tighten the flysheet with one hand, because the buckles are attached in the pull direction
  • Mosquito net: The inner tent is made of a breathable and water-repellent fabric, which enables condensation water not to penetrate the inside of the tent, but rolls off the outside of the inner tent. The doors of the inner tent are equipped in the upper half with a mosquito net. This ensures a good exchange of air without causing an uncomfortable draft in the tent
  • Double loops allow two different tensioning options
  • The peg loops are adjustable. Thus, the tent is easy to tighten and the pegs can be set flexibly

  • Combined setup: The inner tent of the Tempest, Pioneer, Halos and Bella can remain attached to the outer tent. This makes pitching quick and easy
