Vaude Astrum EVO 70+10

The large trekking backpack Vaude Astrum EVO 70+10 combines the best of both worlds. With plenty of storage space that's exceptionally comfortable to carry, the pack is perfect for trekking or long-distance trips with a heavy load. Taller people in particular will appreciate the large model with a whopping 70 liters of pack volume. The Tergolight Comfort Space suspension system and the well-padded hip belt distribute the load ideally and, together with the adjustable back length, ensure a perfect fit. A recess in the lower back padding reduces pressure on the sacroiliac joint relieving pressure on the lower back. Ergoshape shoulder straps allow ample freedom of movement for your arms. It's got padded handles that you'll really appreciate on longer backpacking trips. The spacious front access point can be opened like a suitcase – no more rummaging around in the dark to find your things. Gear stored in the main compartment can be organized in different compartments. Dirty laundry can be stored separately in the bottom compartment. The side stretch pockets are easily accessible even when you're wearing the pack so your water bottle and maps are always close at hand. Additional gear like a sleeping pad can be attached to the gear loops and a separate attachment point accommodates trekking poles. The front pocket offers space for things like a small towel. The height-adjustable lid of the backpack can be detached and converted into a shoulder bag so you'll have access to your necessities while the rest of the pack is stored away on the bus or train.
