Quick overview

The Nordica Santa Ana 84 is a women's all-mountain ski that excels primarily on groomed runs but also performs well off-piste. This ski combines a lightweight wooden core with a metal layer for stability and a playful character. Suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers, it offers confident grip on hard snow and smooth turns in variable conditions. With an 84 mm waist, this ski is ideal for frontside skiing, providing versatility without compromising performance.

Details

Rocker Camber Small Rise
Skis with a rocker in the tip, camber in the middle and a small rise in the tail are very versatile. The ski is easy to turn, and the camber under the foot gives the ski grip on harder snow. The tail is slightly raised, but it is not like a full rocker. This makes for a balanced combination of easy turning and carving, without compromising on stability.

Terrain Specific Metal
By adding the same shaped metal plate inside the skis, it increases proportionately with the decrease of the last. With this technology, Nordica is able to design unique constructions better suited for different terrain. The narrower Santa Ana has more power and stability on the trail, while the wider constructions are more enjoyable off-piste and on softer snow.

Woodcore
The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Titanal
A composite metal of mainly aluminium, known for its torsional stiffness and durability. The addition of a Titanal layer to the ski construction provides stability at speed, strength and damping.

Carbon
Carbon is added as a reinforcement to the core. Carbon is light, strong and durable.

True Tip
By trimming the amount of heavy ABS plastic in the tip and extending the lightweight wood core into this area with a taper that further reduces weight, Nordica enhanced playfulness and maneuverability of the ski without compromising that unmatchable feeling of powerful and control.

Sidewall Construction
A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.
